Remembering

Austin

October 1, 1996 – August 11, 2025

Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.

Austin

On August 11, 2025, Austin's life was tragically cut short in a motorcycle crash after another vehicle pulled into his path.

First responders worked tirelessly to save his life. During those critical moments, Austin's phone could not be located, and his family could not immediately be contacted. His mother lived only minutes away, yet his loved ones did not know what had happened or where he was.

When Austin's family later found Hit Me Helpers Foundation, our mission resonated deeply with them because of what they had experienced that day.

Who Austin Was

In the words of Austin's girlfriend:

Austin was the kind of person you were lucky to know. He had a heart bigger than most and would do anything for the people he loved. Whether someone needed a helping hand, advice, or simply someone to stand beside them, Austin never hesitated to be there. His loyalty, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends defined the way he lived his life.

He had a passion for working with his hands. If it had an engine, Austin wanted to take it apart, fix it, improve it, or simply learn everything he could about it. Bikes, cars, trucks—it didn’t matter. He found joy in the challenge and satisfaction in seeing something come back to life through his hard work.

When he wasn’t getting his hands dirty, his favorite place to be was with the people he loved most. Whether he was taking the dogs for a walk, spending time with family, or simply enjoying the little moments together, those were the memories he treasured most.

Austin was funny, stubborn, protective, and full of fire. He had a personality that couldn’t be ignored and never pretended to be someone he wasn’t. If he had something on his mind, you were going to hear it—and that’s one of the many things people loved about him. He was genuine, honest, and unapologetically himself.

There wasn’t much Austin couldn’t accomplish once he set his mind to it. His determination, work ethic, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that his love, laughter, strength, and spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. He was deeply loved, will be forever missed, and will never be forgotten.

Why His Story Matters

What Austin's family experienced that day reflects the reason Hit Me Helpers Foundation exists.

In an emergency, someone may be unable to communicate while their phone is lost, damaged, locked, or inaccessible. Critical identification, emergency contact, and medical information may not be readily available.

Our mission is to help make that information easier to access when someone cannot speak for themselves.

We cannot know how Austin's emergency would have unfolded differently had that information been immediately available. What we do know is that his family's experience is a powerful reminder of why preparing for the unexpected matters.

In Austin's Memory

Ride On, Austin.

Austin's family has chosen Hit Me Helpers Foundation to receive donations made in his memory.

Donations support our work to improve access to critical identification, emergency contact, and medical information for riders and others during emergencies.

Ride in Peace, Austin.

To Austin's family and loved ones: thank you for trusting Hit Me Helpers Foundation with his story and allowing us the privilege of honoring his life.
